The stage is calling—answer it! Welcome to Musical Theater Camp, where music, drama, and dance collide to create pure Broadway magic. This immersive week takes students behind the curtain and onto center stage as they explore the triple-threat skills that bring musical theater to life.

Campers will dive into the world of Broadway, studying iconic shows while developing characters through voice, movement, and emotional truth. Vocal techniques help singers navigate soaring ballads and rapid-fire patter songs, while choreography teaches storytelling through dance.

At the heart of this camp is collaboration. Musical theater is the ultimate ensemble art form, and campers experience the thrill of creating something extraordinary together. From blocking scenes to harmonizing in group numbers, students discover how individual talents combine to create unforgettable theatrical moments.

The week builds toward a spectacular Friday Showcase—a full production where campers perform scenes, songs, and dance numbers for family and friends. It's opening night and standing ovation all rolled into one!

Full Day (8:30am-3pm)

9:00am - Warm-up & Ensemble Building
Physical and vocal warm-ups that prepare performers and strengthen the ensemble

9:30am - Broadway Studies & Scene Work
Explore musicals, analyze scenes, and develop characters

10:30am - Break & Snack

10:45am - Musical Theater Vocal Techniques
Master belt, mix, projection, and storytelling through song

11:45am - Lunch Break

12:30pm - Dance & Choreography
Learn Broadway-style choreography that brings the show to life

1:30pm - Full Ensemble Rehearsal
Run scenes, songs, and choreography, building toward Friday's showcase

2:15pm - Reflection
Celebrate achievements and preview tomorrow

3:00pm - Dismissal

Cancellation/Changes Policy
Written notice to Joann at info@oakparkmusic.com required for all cancellations/changes.

• Changes: $25 fee

• Cancel 2+ weeks before: Refund minus $50

• Cancel 1-2 weeks before: Credit minus $50

• Cancel under 1 week: No refund; transfer to another camper allowed with written notice.
