Welcome to the OPSM Practice Challenge Page!
As winter settles in, there's no better time to cozy up with your instrument and discover the warmth that music brings. Whether you're perfecting a tricky passage in a piano sonata, mastering breath control in your vocal phrases, or conquering that paradiddle from your last drum lesson, this challenge is your opportunity to grow as a musician.
Whatever you're working on, there's always room for improvement and self-discovery through dedicated practice. Join us on February 9 and see how far you can go!
Here's what you need to know:
Commit to practicing your instrument for 20 out of the 25 challenge days
Keep track of your progress and reach your goals
Share your experience online by tagging #opsmpracticechallenge

Don't worry if you miss a day–pick back up and keep going!
Anyone currently enrolled in lessons or classes can participate (and it’s free to join)! To get started, simply print out the Winter Practice Challenge sheet (available now online and 2/2 at the school) and tape it up near your practice space at home. As you complete each practice session, check off the next number on your chart. The practice challenge is enforced on the honor system–in other words, if you say you've done it, we'll believe you!
We can't wait to see all the growth during this period, and hope that completing this challenge will inspire you to continue on even after it's over!
