Double your musical skills! Welcome to Piano & Voice Camp, where students develop both keyboard and vocal abilities in one exciting week. Designed for grades K-8th, this camp builds strong foundations in two of music's most essential instruments—piano and your own voice.

Campers will explore piano fundamentals including proper technique, hand position, and reading music on the keyboard. Simultaneously, students learn healthy vocal technique that sets them up for a lifetime of singing. Through familiar and simple songs, campers apply their new skills while discovering the joy of making music in multiple ways.

Music notation and theory lessons help students understand the language of music, connecting what they see on the page to what they play and sing. This dual approach deepens musical understanding and creates well-rounded young musicians.

The week culminates in a Friday Showcase where each camper performs twice—once at the piano and once as a vocalist—demonstrating their growth and sharing their love of music with family and friends!

Full Day (8:30am-3pm)

Develop healthy vocal habits through exercises and simple songs

Learn hand position, fingering, and basic keyboard skills

Understand the building blocks of music—notes, rhythms, and reading skills

11:30am - Vocal Repertoire
Practice songs with coaching on technique and expression

12:00pm - Lunch Break

12:45pm - Piano Practice & Coaching
Individual and small group work on piano pieces

1:45pm - Combined Skills & Rehearsal
Prepare showcase performances on both piano and voice

2:15pm - Reflection
Share progress and celebrate the day

3:00pm - Dismissal

Cancellation/Changes Policy
Written notice to Joann at info@oakparkmusic.com required for all cancellations/changes.

• Changes: $25 fee

• Cancel 2+ weeks before: Refund minus $50

• Cancel 1-2 weeks before: Credit minus $50

• Cancel under 1 week: No refund; transfer to another camper allowed with written notice.
