Every song tells a story! Welcome to Sound Stories Camp, where imagination meets melody as students discover the art of songwriting through storytelling. This creative week teaches young songwriters how to transform stories into songs, blending narrative craft with musical expression.

Campers begin each day with story prompts that spark their imagination, then learn to shape those ideas into compelling songs. Students explore narrative structure—understanding how stories unfold with beginnings, middles, and endings—and how songs can follow the same journey. Through character development and thematic exploration, campers discover what makes a song memorable and meaningful.

The creative process comes alive as students illustrate their stories, visualizing the worlds they're creating before setting them to music. By week's end, campers will have crafted their own musical storybooks, combining words, images, and melodies into complete artistic expressions.

This camp is perfect for creative minds who love both storytelling and music, offering a unique space where imagination leads and songs follow!

Cancellation/Changes Policy
Written notice to Joann at info@oakparkmusic.com required for all cancellations/changes.

• Changes: $25 fee

• Cancel 2+ weeks before: Refund minus $50

• Cancel 1-2 weeks before: Credit minus $50

• Cancel under 1 week: No refund; transfer to another camper allowed with written notice.
