Seven Dinda is a woodwind specialist and emerging recorder player in Chicago, IL. You can find him performing with the Recorder Orchestra of the Midwest, the Chicago Recorder Association, the West Suburban Early Music Society, the University of Chicago’s Early Music Ensemble, the Chicago Choro Club, and leading various chamber ensembles around the city.

He is a trained Suzuki recorder teacher and an avid supporter of community music programs having taught with organizations such as Chicago Recorder Society, DePaul University’s Community Music School, Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles’ Clarinet Choir, East Cooper Choral Arts, and Chamber Music Charleston. His teaching style focuses on cultivating a lifelong curiosity about music, exploration of different musical styles, adapting the core instrumental concepts around a student's musical interests, and developing a healthy approach to playing a woodwind instrument with students.

In performance, Seven works to create concert programs that create connections between audiences and composers of the past and present. He has performed across the East Coast and Midwest, including prestigious festivals such as Spoleto USA and Oberlin’s Baroque Performance Institute. He has worked in musical theater as a woodwind doubler for over a decade and has performed the world premier of “Bigfoot and Other Lost Soles” by Mark Hollman and the Jeff Award winning production of “Sweeny Todd” with Kokandy Productions.
