Sing, play, and strum all summer long at OPSM! Led by members of the OPSM faculty, our summer camp offerings include something for everyone! Whether you want to learn the chords from the latest pop song, write and record your own music, serenade on the violin, or create island vibes on ukulele or hand drums, OPSM has you covered!

Sign-up for half day (AM) or full day camps weekly from 6/17-8/9. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for camp descriptions, age/level restrictions, and pricing.

Please note that each week of camp must be purchased separately, but up to three campers from the same family can be registered per week.

  • 6/17 - 6/21: PIANO + VOICE (1st-5th)
    What do Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, and Alicia Keys all have in common? They sing AND play the piano! Learn how to play the piano, how to sing, and how to put it all together in this special camp for beginners and intermediate musicians! AM (9:00-11:30am) & Full Day (9:00am-2:30pm) options. Beginners welcome.

  • 6/24 - 6/28: MEET THE ORCHESTRA (3rd-8th)
    Want to learn a little bit of everything??? In this camp, you’ll “meet” and get to know all the instruments of a symphony orchestra! Each day of camp will be dedicated to an entire instrument family, including strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, and voice! This camp is perfect if you’re in band or orchestra at school (or thinking of joining!), or to show off at your next party! AM (9:00-11:30am) & Full Day (9:00am-2:30pm) options. Beginners welcome.

  • 7/8 - 7/12: ARTS CAMP (PreK & K)
    Our tiniest PreK/K musicians are invited to a weeklong camp designed just for them! In this camp, we’ll explore rhythms on hand drums, singing and dancing in a group, piano foundations, and of course, lots and lots of fun games and hands on art projects! AM (9:00-11:30am) & Full Day (9:00am-2:30pm) options. Beginners welcome.

  • 7/15 - 7/19: STRINGS (1st-5th)
    What makes string instruments so expressive? Why does a symphony orchestra have the largest number of violins, violas, cellos, and basses–all string instruments? And what’s different about a bowed vs. a plucked string instrument? In this camp, spend a whole week exploring the world of strings, with the main focus on learning how to play the violin, but also a brief exploration of the viola, cello, bass, ukulele, and guitar! AM (9:00-11:30am) & Full Day (9:00am-2:30pm) options. Beginners welcome.

  • 7/22 - 7/26: PIANO + VOICE (1st-5th)

  • 7/29 - 8/2: CHAMBER MUSIC (3rd-12th)
    If you love your instrument but wish you could play with friends, our Chamber Music camp is for you! In this camp, all registrants will be placed in a duo, trio, or quartet group to rehearse and receive coachings on one or several pieces throughout the week in preparation for a run through performance on the last day! AM (9:00-11:30am) only. All acoustic instruments welcome; must have 1-2yrs (or more) formal training (private lessons) on instrument.

  • 8/5 - 8/9: MEET THE ORCHESTRA (3rd-8th)

This camp is perfect if you’re thinking about joining band or orchestra in school this year, or to show off at your next party! AM (9:00-11:30am) & Full Day (9:00am-2:30pm) options.
